ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 During a recent review of our high standards in terms of quality and environment FN Neuhofer Holz again received a very positive rating. The ISO 9001 certification has been renewed during the annual audit in June 2007. In addition to process oriented manufacturing cycles, this system for quality management adheres to all other functional areas of the company. The range of application extends from Product Development (of the complete FN product line) to Sales and Marketing and integrates our customers as well as our distributors and employees. In June 2007, the "Kiwa International Cert" also acknowledged the compliance with the requirements of the ISO 14001. By taking into account the interest of all associates of the company, this international set of rules and regulations requires the prevention of environmental pollution and the decrease of damaging environmental impact on soil, water and air, far beyond legal regulations.

PEFC Certificate We have been awarded with the international PEFC-Certificate in honor of our contribution to a forest cultivation that is ecological, socially compatible, and economically stable at the same time. PEFC represents the largest worldwide program for recognition of lasting forest cultivation with national as well as regional standards. Independent and renowned certification organizations guarantee that the cultivation of forests is based on the rules of PEFC-standards. The PEFC seal of approval ensures an uninterrupted supply of certified wood. As the holder of this certificate we render an active contribution towards the ecological quality of our products and ultimately towards nature conservancy.

Neuhofer Holz also fulfils the strict requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council. This umbrella organisation for the promotion of environmentally acceptable, socially compatible and economically sustainable forest management certified our company in 2003. The significance of this distinction is considerable - it certifies that Neuhofer Holz manages forests ecologically and economically in accordance with the internationally recognized guidelines stipulated by the FSC, and processes and sells wood or wood products from certified forests. |

Holzindustrie (Timber Award) of the year 2006 We were selected by specialist magazine "Holzkurier" from a large number of respected companies as winner of the competition "Timber Industry 2006". We have succeeded in asserting ourselves in the face of competitors thanks to innovative products based on traditional values such as quality and reliability, competence and world-wide service. The courage displayed by us in terms of daring to tackle large-scale projects, such as the construction of the new production hall at the Zell am Moos site, was a crucial factor in the jury’s decision.
