ISO 14001
Our company has been ISO 14001certified since 2004; in July 2007, this certificate was successfully renewed following an extensive audit process. This set of rules stands for the minimization of environmental pollution of soil, water, and air, and for the ongoing improvement process, with yearly revisions/ audits. This certification guarantees publicly approved environmental standards and acknowledges active prevention of environmental pollution and deep integration of environment protection in our company's philosophy.
FSC for a sustainable economy
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international umbrella organization for the promotion of an ecologically sound, socially responsible and economically sustainable forest economy. In addition, principles and criteria have been drawn up for a sustainable forest and wood economy. Certified companies receive an attestation for managing their forests complying with the ecological, social and economic criteria, specified by the FSC or for processing or selling wood or wood products from certified forests.
PEFC for ecological quality
The PEFC (Pan-European forest certification initiative) seal of approval makes it possible for the consumer to consciously decide on buying products originating from a responsible forest economy. This seal of approval guarantees that the forests from which the certified wood originates are managed in an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable manner, conforming to the standards of the PEFC. This confirms the active contribution of FN Neuhofer Holz to the ecological quality of its products and thereby to the protection of nature.
