After the large investment in a digital print system at the end of last year, FN Neuhofer Holz again expanded its equipment in July 2010 to include a "Powermat 1000" planing machine by Weinig. FN plans to accelerate its production of solid wood profiles even more in the future.
After all, in the field of solid wood profiles the competition is also getting harder, delivery deadlines are getting shorter, and demands on quality are increasing - and FN always strives to ensure that customers receive only the best quality profiles and the best possible service.
The new planing machine will produce 72,000 linear metres of profiles per day in 3-shift operation, this corresponds to a yearly capacity of 15.84 million linear metres of profiles. This not only makes the extremely fast processing of solid wood possible, but also the processing of wood substitutes such as MDF, when necessary. The complete production capacity at Neuhofer Holz is 110 linear metres of profiles per year.
