From Raw Material to Finished Panel

For the production of the FN Acustico acoustic panels, polyester felt is used as the reverberation-reducing material. The felt consists of PES fibres, which are made of up to 60% recycled PET materials, such as PET bottles.

The slats attached to the felt are made of black or brown MDF with various surfaces, such as decorative foil, veneer or decorative foil with a haptic surface.

The combination of PES-Felt and MDF slats creates the product FN Acustico. The MDF slats are either glued to the felt or stapled to the felt with metal clips. This results in a significant reduction of reverberation in the application.

As a basis for digitally printed acoustic panels, slats of black MDF are covered with white decorative paper. These are then stapled or glued to the Felt.

The desired décor can now be selected from a variety of motifs and printed onto the panel using in-house digital printing. Different panel formats and also individual images are possible.
